Omnitep's fascinating journey as all-in-one low-code development ecosystem has began in 2005. The first generation of the Platform was built by a team of passionate software engineers that needed a tool for a rapid software development (RAD) to empower its internal team.

Back then, RAD platforms were cumbersome, expensive and extremely limited. We've quickly learned that the tool we needed simply did not exist so we've decided to build one for ourselves!

This way Omni Systems team became one of the early pioneers of contemporary low-code development technology many years before the "Low-code" term was coined by Forrester Research and became mainstream.
